Project Laghu Wan
Creating mini-forests to combat climate change.
Back to Programs
Our volunteers plant and nurture saplings, building green lungs for rural communities across Maharashtra. Each Laghu Wan (mini-forest) is adopted by the local community, ensuring long-term care and survival rates far above average plantation programs.
Program Objectives
- Plant saplings annually in rural Maharashtra
- Create mini-forest patches in degraded land
- Community adoption and care of planted trees
- Environmental awareness and conservation workshops
